Details of the vacancies RRC, Chennai:

Total no. of vacancies: 16 posts

Name of the posts(Quota):

1. Cultural: 02 posts (Classical Dance, Instrumental-Veena)

2. Scouts & Guides: 14 posts

Age Limit:

Candidates those who are in Grade Pay of Rs.1900/- should be in between the age of 18 to 30 years and those who are in Grade pay of Rs.1800/- should be in between the age of 18 to 33 years as on 01-01-2014. However upper age relaxation will be given as per the Rules of Govt of India Ministry of Railway.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates those who are applying for the post of Cultural should have the Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Music from a Govt. Recognized institute. For the posts of Scout & Guides should be President's Scout/Guide/Ranger/Rover or Himalayan Wood Badge Holder Or a Pre-HWB trained Scout Leader/Advanced Trained Guide/Leader/Captain and should have been a active member of a Scouts Organization for minimum 3 years.

Selection Procedure:

Selection of the Candidates will be made on the basis of Written Test,Personality Test and Interview.

Examination/Application Fee:

Candidates those who are applying under the Grade pay of Rs.1800/- are required to pay the application fee of Rs.100/- and those who are applying under pay Grade of Rs.1900/- should deposit Rs.40/- in the form of Demand Draft/Indian Postal Order Drawn in favour of 'Assistant Personnel Officer / Recruitment payable at Chennai. However the candidates of SC/ST/ PWD/ Woman/EBC/Minorities and Ex Serviceman are exempted from paying the application Fee.

Last date of receipt of remote area application:07-01-2014 by 17:00 hrs
